Hello!

My goodness! I'm sorry I have not updated our blog for so long! But i am going to try to update it at least every month. Our Sadie is so big now, and too cute for words. Oh how we love her! She brings so much joy into our lives. She is 18 months, and will hopefully start nursery next Sunday. Woo hoo! The kids in my primary class are sad about that, but i can't wait.
Sadie's vocabulary has started up since we have banned her pacifier from her during the daytime. She can say mom, dad, dog, kitty, hi, bye, eye, outside, and she said sadie the other day. She is so sweet to her sick pregnant mommy. Yesterday i laid my head on her lap, and she fed me her drink then we watched her show together while she stroked my hair and kissed me every 30 seconds to make me feel better. :) She is going to be the BEST older sister, and she is the best daughter ever.

Speaking of... here is a picture of my pregnant belly. Almost 7 months. Just about there!
Sadie loves her daddy! He is the fun one. She gets so excited when he gets home from work. The other day we went to this awesome place called jungle tots. We had a blast! She only wanted her daddy though. She cried everytime i tried to hold her or play with her. Ha ha Sam loved it.

We have been mourning these past few weeks because Sam was told he would have to be deployed about two weeks after our little girl is born! He wouldn't be back until next june. Well we just found out some AMAZING news... He gets to stay!!! And what a blessing that is. I don't know how i would have made it through six months without my sweetheart.
Sam had his 23 birthday conference weekend! It was a blast! His parents and scott and brad all stayed at our house and we had so much fun. Sadie, of course loved it! we celebrated his birthday at hisu. A sushi/ steakhouse. It was fun.

Grandpa Lopez, aka Indian Red Lopez died that same weekend. We were sad, but so happy he is in a wonderful place now. He had a wonderful funeral. It was truely a celebration of his life. He has a great story written about him in london times www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/columists/owen_slot/article6872714.ece and his obituary in the LA times http://www.latimes.com/news/obituaries/la-me-ernie-lopez5-2009oct05,0,1965142.story He sure had a tough life, but he was a great fighter and had such a fun sense of humor. It is crazy how much he and my dad look alike! We love you grandpa lopez.
